Prescott Arizona area foreclosure market report as of 11-14-09

26 new foreclosed or short sale homes came on the market during the week of November 8-November 14, up slightly from the previous week’s 24. These made up approximately 1/3 of  homes being listed in the Prescott Arizona Area MLS system.

Foreclosure market is looking up, prices increasing

Times are still tough in the Prescott area residential real estate sector, but the foreclosure market is looking up. While real estate prices, as a whole, have plummeted, prices of foreclosuresin most states are going up, according to the foreclosure listing site Foreclosuredataonline.com.

24 new foreclosed or short sale homes came on the market during the week of November 1-November 7, down significantly from the previous week’s 35. These made up approximately 1/4 of  homes being listed in the Prescott Arizona Area MLS system.

Phoenix ranks 14th nationwide in list of overall safest cities in U.S.
