The home,opened in February 1911, is a retirement home that overlooks downtown Prescott. The home is one of Prescott’s prominent landmarks and dominates the view to the west from downtown.

The answer, Prescott AZ. Prescott was named the capital of the Arizona territory in 1864. It held that status until 1867 where it was moved to Tucson. Elk Ridge Ski Area is 65 miles north of downtown Prescott AZ. Though Elk Ridge is not a major ski area it has some things to offer that other ski areas lack. It is a perfect place for the casual skier. There are no crowded lift lines and several easy hills to practice on.
