Prescott Area Market Report
Twenty-eight new foreclosed or short sale homes came on the market last week, up one listing from last week’s twenty-seven. These made up about one in every 5 homes being listed in the Prescott Arizona Area MLS system which has been fairly constant for a couple of months now.
Short Sales: 9/28 are short sale listings (see yellow highlight). Short sale pricing is a bit of a crap shoot right now in the marketplace, and is driven by several factors: sometimes a short sale option investor is pricing the home; other times by the listing agent; and sometimes has been preapproved by the bank.
