Tactical Vests for Dogs
I was reading the little magazine that comes in our unique newspaper, The Daily Courier, and came across an article that made my eyes water a little.
It was about an organization that provides bulletproof vests to service dogs. They are called Vest ‘N P.D.P (Police Dog Protection) and they raise money to provide Police Dogs with bulletproof/stabproof vests.
This resonated personally with me as I have an old Marine buddy who had the opportunity to bond with a service dog and he left me with a lasting impression of the relationship they had.
I’m going to be donating the a portion of the proceeds from my Adsense advertising revenue to them from this site as my part to help them put more dogs in vests. See what you can do.

Vest ‘N P.D.P., Inc. has provided 260 vests in 28 states, since the inception of Vest ‘N P.D.P., Inc. (Click on ¬Donate Page® for list all the city/states we have assisted). A great accomplishment, considering I am a very small organization.
My 501(c)(3) charity, consists of two Corporate Officers: myself, CEO; Ross Sturdevant, Secretary/Treasurer. Thru the years, I have had four volunteers who came in to offer their time and assistance. It is vital to maintain a small company so that monies for vests are utilized to the fullest. It is of utmost importance to me to provide as many police dogs with vests as possible.
Since 2002, I am excited to report, Vest ‘N P.D.P. has been able to increase the number of recipients each year, and provide them with vests. I am very proud to report, my organization has received enough monies to provide vests to 130 police dogs in 20 states, in 2008.
Of course, this would not happen if not for the wonderful people who have helped make Vest ‘N P.D.P., Inc. succeed. And, once again, I have a lot of people to acknowledge my appreciation. I am truly grateful for your support!
First, I want to give a HUGE thanks and appreciation to NASCAR Driver, Tony Stewart and his foundation. The Tony Stewart Foundation provided enough money to outfit 40 police dogs in five states. How cool is that? Thank you to the “Round Table of Women”, Joni, Pam, Natalie, of the Tony Stewart Foundation, for helping to make this possible.
